Kevin and Meghan awaiting their turn to make challenge.
Kevin challenged Sir Guillaume de la Belgique. Sir Guillaume is seen meditating on his mantra. (As quoted in his I Didn't Expect an Inquisition the next month, "Please, God, don’t let me throw up.")
Kevin presents Meghan, Sir Guillaume, and Baroness Felinah to Their Majesties.
Everyone smiles for the camera except Sir Guillaume, who is continuing his meditation.

Unfortunately, the fight between Kevin and Sir Guillaume was shorter than the shutter speed of the camera.

Kevin honors Meghan before the second round.
Kevin and THL Wulfric square off. Duke Ivan, Sir Lupus, and Jarl Rorik look on.
Kevin lands a blow on Wulfric's leg. Note that Kevin is holding his shield way too high, and Wulfric's sword is already a blur. He landed a killing blow right above the hip.

Fighter Poem for Kevin's First Crown Tourney

...................... Brave Kevin of the clan O’Gallagher
...................... For his first Crown came boldly to the field
...................... For love of Meghan and to honor her
...................... He gladly lifted up his sword and shield
...................... Guillaume the noble knight was first to wield
...................... His sword against him, and to lay him low,
...................... As by day’s end all to him had kneeled.
...................... For his courage, Felinah thanks bestow’d.
...................... The Viking Wulfric fought so all would know
...................... His love for Lassar, rosebud of his heart.
...................... The path to victory his compass showed,
...................... Yet loving eyes proved Kevin did his part.
...................... For Meghan’s love he entered in the fray,
...................... With honor, love and pride he left the day.

Lady Meghan Paget
